Stefano Trevisi (Mantova, 1974) studied Composition with Mario Garuti and Electronic Music with Francesco Giomi. His works were performed in music festivals such as International Gaudeamus Music Week (Amsterdam), Zeppelin (Barcelona), Rai Nuova Musica (Turin), Synthèse (Bourges), Licenses (Paris), 51st and 56th Biennale Musica of Venice, Traiettorie (Parma), REC (Reggio Emilia), International summer courses (Darmstadt), 8th SMC Conference (Padua), Alte Schmiede in Wien, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence. He was composer in residence at Tempo Reale (Florence) in 2006 and 2007. His compositions were selected in several competitions, such as 29th, 33rd (mention) and 36th International Competition of Electroacoustic Music (Bourges), Gaudeamus Music Prize 2002 (Amsterdam), and Franco Evangelisti 2003 and 2006 (Rome). He won the X Premio nazionale delle arti (Electronic Music). His works are published by RAI Trade (Rome). With the visual artist Paolo Cavinato he formed the project “SpazioVisivo”, produced by Galerie Mario Mazzoli (Berlin), creating installations which have been presented at ArteFiera in Bologna, Memory (London and PAN Museum in Naples), Fortepiano in Rome, and in the personal exhibitions “Spazio visivo” (Rovereto), “Constellation” (London) , “Linie” and “Souvenir de Voyage” (Berlin).
